AgentScout Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account basics: your email address (if you share it) and your Telegram chat id — used only to deliver your alerts, digests, and replies.
Your settings: the profile, criteria, and filters you set with bot commands (/profile, /criteria, /skills, and similar), and an optional Slack webhook URL if you turn on the Slack mirror.
Job text you explicitly submit: when you use /score, the bookmarklet, or the extension's Check Fit button, the text of that job posting (title, description, pay, URL) is sent to our server, scored, and stored privately in your account so we can answer follow-ups like /draft. The extension reads a page only when you click — it never browses, tracks, or collects anything in the background.
Usage events: which alerts were delivered to you, which you clicked, and outcomes you report (/won, /lost, 👍/👎) — this powers your /stats and improves scoring.

How it's used

Job text and your profile/criteria are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce scores, proposal drafts, and client research. We don't sell or share your data with anyone else, ever. No ads, no trackers, no analytics scripts on this site.

The extension, specifically

The Check Fit extension stores your personal token in your browser's extension storage and sends it only to agentscoutjobs.com. It requests access to job sites solely to read the posting you're viewing when you click the button. It never posts, bids, clicks, or automates anything on any site on your behalf.

Retention & deletion

Your data is kept while you're a subscriber. Message the bot or email us and we'll delete your account row, checked jobs, and usage events within 7 days. Revoke the extension's access anytime by removing it and asking for a token reset.
